As a Senior IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and performance of IMT’s server and network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of IT systems.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and support IMT’s server and network infrastructure to ensure maximum reliability, performance, and security.
- Monitor and maintain servers, networks, storage devices, and other hardware and software components for optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including hardware, software, and network problems, while implementing preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Manage and support virtualization infrastructure, including VMware and/or Hyper-V.
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure the integrity and availability of critical data and systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team and business partners to plan, design, and implement new IT infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT team members and end-users on infrastructure-related issues, including desktop support and mobile devices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices related to IT infrastructure and recommend enhancements to existing systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions to improve system performance, security, and reliability.
- Work with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and respond to service requests.
Skills Required:
- Technical diploma or degree in IT, or equivalent work experience with relevant IT certifications.
- 5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and exploring new ideas.
- Willingness to follow and improve standard procedures.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel to other IMT locations and be available to work after-hours, evenings and/or weekends as required
