Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and preparation of jobs, including loading/unloading materials and tools.
• Perform general manual labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, moving materials, drilling, sweeping and other general labour tasks inside and outside the plant facility.
• Operate basic tools and machinery, hand tools, small power tools and forklifts.
• Maintain and organize tools, ensure they are ready for use.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support skilled trades as required.
• Sounds knowledge of al safety standards, policies and procedures.
• All other work as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor. Or other authorized management personnel.

Requirements:

• Frequent lifting, bending, standing and walking.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and sometimes strenuous conditions.
• Good computer skills; Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficient at operating lift trucks, hoists and using power tools.
• Able to follow instructions and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Work at heights without fear.

Type:  Full Time

Wage:  $23.93 per hour

Hours: 3 shift rotation, 40 hours a week
