The Heat Treating Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting the company’s heat-treating services to new and existing clients. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the company’s revenue, margin and profitability goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive sales growth by meeting or exceeding targets for volume, gross margin, and EBITDA
• Maintain consistent revenue through well-structured sales programs and provide accurate sales forecasts across product categories to support production planning
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, including reconnecting with former clients and engaging prospective customers
• Promote the company’s full range of heat treating services through tailored messaging, site visits, and solution-oriented sales presentations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by responding to inquiries, recommending appropriate heat treating processes, and ensuring timely resolutions of concerns.
• Cultivate long-term relationships through ongoing communication, on-site visits, and by delivering excellent customer service
• Assess and optimize sales territory coverage while monitoring competitive activity and industry trends. 
• Provide pricing recommendations based on market intelligence, cost data, and profitability goals, ensuring special pricing is used selectively and strategically
• Maintain thorough and organized records of sales activities, forecasts, client communications, and event leads. Document and share written recommendations and customer instructions, supporting internal collaboration and decision-making.
• Plan, coordinate, and attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and increase visibility.
• Leverage promotional materials and advertising strategies in partnership with customers, staying within approved budgets.

REQUIREMENTS:

The Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) is a key member of the maintenance team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems throughout the facility. This unionized position demands both physical capability and mental agility to safely and effectively support production operations. The successful candidate must hold a valid Ontario Millwright (433A) license and demonstrate sound mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of forging equipment.
